ConFed eSports has Purchased Chobo Team League 1 April 2020 ConFed eSports, a new Subsidiary of All-Inspiration, has purchased Chobo Team League from the domain owner who has asked to remain anonymous. Details of the cost of purchase are not available at this time. ConFed eSports is a subgroup out of All-Inspiration that has formed to run StarCraft 2 events for the greater StarCraft 2 community. Members of ConFed eSports currently include ShazamPoof, Wardi, Edennil, Maynard, Uncommon, xJustxJordanx, Colttarren, and HuskyStarcraft but is looking to expand. ConFed eSports began by taking over All-In TheNydus and Diamond League late last night. Throughout last night into today negotiations occured to take over Chobo Team League. After 16 hours of negotiations terms were set and the move became official. This should not affect Chobo Team League memers as much as you would think. The only major change will be the renaming of the league to ConFed Team League. It will still keep it’s CTL as its abbreviation. Current admins will continue running the league until the yearly election that occurs on June 1st. Current Admins will also receive compensation for the remainder of their time. More details about how leadership will change after June 1st will be released in the future. We believe this will be a positive change for the league as it will allow much more talented and driven members to take over and start leading the league down a better path. We are excited and hope you all are as well. Hurray ConFed!

Thank you, (Name Redacted)

  1. The Confederation recruitment administration (from this point on in this document will be refered as “C.R.A., CRA, or the CRA) is the tip of the spear for the recruitment within the ConFederation. The CRA sustains the lifeblood. The CRA’s goal is not just to sustain and stagnate but grow and continue ushering in individuals into the community that so many call home. Outline: Recruitment: Every member within the ranks of CRA will be responsible for scouting out potential candidates, assessing the candidates and offering out the opportunity to apply for the ConFederation. CRA members will be trained and proficient in recruitment that not only falls in line with current E.U.L.A. but keeping the ConFederation in a positive light within the Battle.net community while doing so. Every CRA member is encouraged to recruit at least three members a week. Accountability. Bearing in mind that every CRA member is encouraged to recruit at least three members a week, if that member is not showing any developments or prospects than the CRA member will be given further mentorship and guidance. If after the fourth week the CRA member fails at his/her task then the Commandant will coordinate with the current Fleet Admiral, releasing them from the CRA. During JCOS meetings the Commandant will inform the JCOS of current progress with recruitment, total numbers of recruited, potential issues or anything else that the Commandant feels pertinent or is requested of the Commandant. Events The CRA will be responsible for organizing any and all recruitment events, this does not mean that the UMC/KeepeRs/HC are not allowed to. This simply means that once a week the CRA will host a recruitment drive through direct recruitment methods in game. The CRA will be responsible for keeping the main body of the ConFederation updated on any events that take place.

  2. [9:21 AM]

The Commandant will only take orders from H.C. The CRA cannot issue orders to anyone outside of the CRA. CRA membership is by appointment only.

July Interview w/ Owner of The ConFederation, Oblivion!

Striker: Hi, how are you?

Oblivion: Good, you?

Striker: Great! I've heard good things about you and ConFed. Why did you choose to return to Starcraft 2 for ConFed after a 4 year hiatus?

Oblivion: Well, being a member from Brood War, I can say without a doubt that this clan has made a large impact on my life as well as given me the opportunity to get to know a lot of great people. I realized that I wanted to make sure ConFed was restarted and continued so that it will continue to offer the same great experience which it offered to me.

Striker: What type of experiences do you offer ConFed and what do they offer you?

Oblivion: For ConFed, we offer a place and environment for anyone regardless of their interests. If you want to enjoy a more casual environment with the Arcade / Ranking Structure or if you want to play team games or have constant practice partners. For those who want to be more competitive, we have our Keepers which some of you may remember from Brood War. Its an active community with one goal, to enjoy the game of Starcraft together as members of ConFed.For me personally, it's a place where I get to invest and directly impact my members experiences in SC2 and as a member of this great clan.
I enjoy the management aspect of clans on Battle Net and think they really play an important part in the community as a whole.

Striker: Wow, it seems really organized and fun. So let's hear about you, how did you get into StarCraft?

Oblivion: I actually never heard of Starcraft before joining ConFed. I was actually really into Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos /The Frozen Throne and happened to come across a recruitment bot for ConFed. I ended up joining their channel, hearing about the clan, and finally running out to Walmart the next day and buying the battlechest.

Striker: Did you have in mind that you would be managing the biggest clan on StarCraft 2?

Oblivion: When I first joined ConFed in Brood War, it was always a goal to be in High Command as well as be known as a Confederation Legend. While I was able to accomplish both of these, I never expected to ever be handed ownership. It's an honor every single day to be able to lead, what I believe, is the greatest group on Battle Net.

Striker: What is your greatest thing that has happened to you and The ConFederation?

Oblivion: That's such a hard question, but if I had to narrow it down it would be the current state of ConFed. We are one of the, if not, oldest clans on Starcraft. By the time Brood War died out and Wings of Liberty was released, ConFed went from 500 to around 20 members. I believe the fact we have finally reestablished The Confederation and are continuing to grow speaks magnitude about the type of organization that we are today and the legacy which we continue to uphold. No matter if you look at our channel, quality of players, or activity on TeamSpeak, we are continuing to show upward trends.

Striker: Where do you see yourself and ConFed in 1 year?

Oblivion: Again, another hard question. The variables of any organization, especially a clan are ever changing. Though, our goals are to continue to cultivate our member base with events for all levels of play as well as growing our Keepers (competitive division). I am really excited to see how we progress as we begin to enter the higher competitive sphere of SC2. For now, though, we will keep our focus on ensuring the health and survival of ConFed as well as providing a one of a kind experience to our members.

Striker: Thanks for your time and I wish you the best!

Oblivion: Thank you! :D
